Finally the bug which was creating bad sound in windows for some neogeo games is fixed, sorry for this one.
Except that, cross pang too, and silvertrix found a problem with ssf2ta, and actually the rom had been badly converted from mame with the script. Very hard to detect problem, so at this point the best solution was to do another merge with a fixed script, so I updated the whole list of cps2 games. So there are 40 more cps2 clones, the strangest one probably being gigaman2, without sound. ssf2ta is fixed. I just hope I didn't add more bugs by doing so, but in fact I found a few other problems from previous versions on cps2, so I am pretty confident this should be better. Of course I couldn't test all the 280 cps2 games !
By the way if you want to test neogeo games only you can select the neogeo driver from the options in the game selection dialog.

Sorry for all these bugs, it has been a crazy week, but I needed some help to find bugs at this point, and it has been useful after all. Next version will take much more time to come, especially considering that the weather is warmer and warmer now !

The windows binary is already uploaded, the debian package will follow soon...

Hi. Thanks for fix Cps 2 game - SSF Turbo, I have problem with Strikers 1945 (Japan) - It's still emu crash when I tried to play this game when I insert coin. ???

Specific to the japan clone only, so take the world version, and I'll see this one later !
edit : it's fixed, it was 1 of the bugs of the conversions of 0.61, it was using the bad loading function, and then the bad mcu table and was crashing on the protection, quite fun to fix actually... !

2 problems

1. Darius set is listed twice when exporting dat file

2. Two roms have wrong size

Giga Man 2: The Power Fighters (bootleg of Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters) [folder: gigaman2 - parent: megaman2 - size: 20mb]
wrong size: cg_rom1.bin [wrong: 8388608] [right: 4194304] [CRC32: ed55a641]
wrong size: cg_rom2.bin [wrong: 8388608] [right: 4194304] [CRC32: 63918c05]

Both should be 8mb and not 4mb

For the 1st, it's actually here since 0.61.0, but thanks anyway, it's fixed in the source now.

For the 2, it explains why mame used this weird ROM_IGNORE here, it's used for that !!!
Ok, I'll test if there is really nothing useful in the end of these roms and fix it in next release, thanks !

Found a new problem - Dai makai - mura (Japan, hack?) - Emu crash when I tried to load this game.

You are really a crazy tester, I never bothered to even get these romsets to test them (this one + the ones you talked about by mail).
Well I made the mistake to update the configuration table of cps1 games in previous version without updating the games themselves, a few games had their names changed and so they lost their config. It includes dynwaru (named dynwara now) and daimakr2 (named daimakair).
Well I can update the config table manually to add the missing configs (what I just did for these 2 games), or update the whole romsets to update them, like what I did for cps2. It's probably worth trying to update cps1 romsets too, I noticed there are a few problems with the controls too on some very specific clones...
Oh well...

I'm "crazy tester", because Raine  is my favorite emulator for old Arcade games and these games must works perfectly,  ;)

Could you add some more old arcade games from 80's and early 90's, like: Violent Storm, Gradius, Tapper, After Burner. :P

You know you could try coding too !
But the games easy to add are rare anyway, you could think that the older ones are the easiest ones, but usually they really imagined crazy devices because of the lack of possibilities they had, and they are sometimes crazier than some more recent hardware.

Anyway, lot of things in my mind, not enough time, usual problem, without some help for coding I can't do everything !
